At InvestOps Connect, we spoke to Ben Clay, Senior Sales Executive, and Olivier Halimi, General Manager, from AQMetrics to see why they chose to sponsor for the first time
Ben: We had a very successful experience at the large-scale InvestOps Europe event. We heard about the more intimate format of this event, designed to connect senior leaders with solution providers one-on-one, and we thought it sounded great.
Olivier: The seniority of the delegates here are great. They’re all C-Level, and they all have an open-minded approach when it comes to discussing with solution providers.
Ben: I recognise many faces from people we’ve been trying to target through various channels over the past few years, so it's great having them here and conversing with them.
Ben: They’ve been great, we’ve managed to have some good introductory conversations. It’s all about getting that brand recognition and planting the seed. I especially enjoyed having conversations at the networking drinks last night as I was able to pick up conversations this morning, it helped break down barriers and made it very informal and relaxed.
Olivier: We’ve had seven meetings overall.
Ben: We’re currently looking at all of them being good quality leads to follow up on.
Olivier: It’s challenging to connect with this crowd as they’re so busy. We’re talking to the top organisations here, and coming to InvestOps Connect is a great way to stand out from the crowd and avoid the traffic these decision-makers get.
Ben: Without an event like this, it would be very difficult to get face time.
Olivier: The event team have been great, suggesting ideas and helping us make sure we’re as prepared as possible.
Ben: I can’t fault the organisation, it’s been great.
